About this role

We rely on dedicated, bright, well organised and forward-thinking administrators to support the varied work that takes place in the Diocese of Southwark. We have two, permanent roles:
1.Departmental Administrator Ministry and Training Department
2.Departmental Administrator - HR, Safeguarding and Governance

Person description

We have a couple of opportunities for people, with excellent IT skills, an independent, conscientious and flexible approach, who enjoy being part of a team.
Whilst a knowledge of the structures of the Church of England is not essential, a willingness to work within a diverse Christian ethos and demonstrate a commitment or our values is important

About The Diocese of Southwark

The Diocese of Southwark consists of nearly 300 Church of England parishes across South London and Surrey. That represents nearly 50,000 church goers and over 500 clergy. The Department of Ministry and Training delivers courses ranging from biblical studies to managing volunteers, and from prayer to coaching, for church goers and clergy in the diocese. These include evening classes, day courses and residential training. Courses are taught by Director and Assistant Director assisted by a large number of part time tutors, most of whom are voluntary. The posts are based at Trinity House, off Borough High Street.
