Conference Salesperson

One of Bankside's most distinctive heritage landmarks, Southwark Cathedral is seeking to appoint a Sales Person to join a small team selling conference space in our six contemporary-style rooms located in a uniquely historic setting.

We are looking for a motivated sales person to drive income and achieve challenging monthly sales targets. This position will suit candidates with strong attention to detail, able to work flexibly and creatively with the pricing structure to encourage repeat business, and with experience in developing professional relationships with new and existing clients and working with a range of marketing partners.

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role combined with a real enthusiasm and talent for selling. Experienced candidates with a network within the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) industry are preferred. However, this role is also open to recent graduates and other self-starters keen to move into a sales career and who have the right set of transferable skills.
