About this role

Allstay are now seeking to recruit a skilled Bookkeeper to record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. You will post information to accounting journals/software and reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
• Bring the books to the trial balance stage
• Perform partial checks of the posting process
• Complete basic tax forms
• Enter data, maintain records and lunch reports and financial statements
• Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll.

Requirements

• Experience in hospitality preferred but not essential
• Good level of bookkeeping experience including a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Enjoy working with and supporting the team


We offer:

• Excellent remuneration - £30,000 pro rata
• 3-4 days per week – The hours are flexible

Allstay are based in the SE1 area of London on Tower Bridge Road. The Company started life in 2014 set up by a team of experienced hospitality and tourism professionals. We provide operational management services for 150 serviced apartments, the majority of which are located in the London Borough of Southwark. In addition to our managed properties we look after our corporate client’s long stay and group accommodation requirements for serviced apartments across the rest of London and the UK, we are also excited to be developing our European and International suppliers.
