About this role

Assistant Early Years Manager
with special responsibility for children
(18 months - 5 years)

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, with special responsibility for the care and development of children from 18 months to 5 years. You will be qualified to at least NVQ3 and have excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will have at least 3 years’ experience of delivering an Early Years curriculum for children and be committed to communicating with and engaging parents/carers in their child’s learning and development. You will have the ability to share good practice with your colleagues.

About Coin Street neighbourhood centre

Coin Street Community Builders (CSCB) is a not-for-profit social enterprise and development trust responsible for developing and managing a significant part of London’s South Bank. The 13-acre estate includes designer-maker studios, exhibition spaces, cafes, bars and restaurants, parks, the riverside walkway, award winning housing and a regular programme of events and festivals. The new Coin Street neighbourhood centre brings together our family & children and learning & enterprise support facilities, providing new offices for our staff, a neighbourhood cafe, restaurant, and extensive conference and meeting facilities. Our programmes for families & children include childcare, Early Years education, out-of-school activities, parent support courses, workshops and free family drop-ins. Our 64-place nursery caters for children from 3 months to 5 years of age.
