About St George the Martyr Church

St George’s is friendly and welcoming. We are a busy church with a number of events and groups meeting in the church throughout the week. Our hiring is growing as the surrounding area continues to grow and develop with new and exciting initiatives.

We are thankfully growing as church as new people move into the area and others hear about what’s going on. People of all ages, backgrounds and life experiences worship here. Some have lived and worshipped here for many years. We are developing a ministry to students and young professionals, many of whom are moving into the area. We particularly welcome children and have recently established a Sunday School for those of primary school age. We are particularly blessed by a good number of people from an African and Afro-Caribbean heritage.
