About this role

Opening in September 2018, Science Gallery London is a flagship project for King’s College London and a space unlike any other in the capital or the country. Its mission is to ignite creativity and discovery where science and art collide, achieved through themed seasons of exhibitions, events, talks and workshops – each developed through conversation and connection between artists, scientists and young adults.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead on community engagement for Science Gallery London. The postholder will be responsible for the overall strategic direction of community engagement and managing its key priorities including the Young Leaders programme and ensuring the work of all SGL staff considers the opinions, skills and talents of young people to help shape and build the future of the Gallery.

Person description

The successful candidate will be a confident, friendly and accessible team member with experience of building and maintaining both internal and external relationships with respect, cultural sensitivity and a friendly, non-elitist spirit.
