About this role

We are seeking an Office Assistant to help with the general day to day running of the office and also to assist with some aspects of our projects.

The role will be office-based but some flexibility may be possible depending on circumstances.

Responsibilities would include:
Partners’ diary management; organise and schedule meetings, occasionally making travel arrangements
Phone and door answering; greeting visitors and guests
Assisting with organising and running events and parties (approx 5 per year)
Some business development responsibilities, e.g. updating our CRM database and other specialist apps.
Assistance to Office Manager as required, e.g. opening and distributing mail and some assistance with bookkeeping matters
Maintaining office equipment to ensure smooth office functionality and arranging maintenance as required
Assisting with finding new members of staff – running our pre interview processes
Occasionally assisting with measured surveys
Maintaining the office samples library
Assisting drafting presentation documents
Some admin tasks for projects including document control

Person description

Key attributes:
Client-facing (for answering phones and door etc), i.e. professional demeanour
Office management/admin experience desirable
Excellent English language skills; drafting professional emails and documents

Software:
MS Office, especially Word and Excel
InDesign desirable

Willing to take on any task with enthusiasm, whether skilled or basic. Proactive and helpful attitude.

We are an office of about 15 architects and architectural assistants and an Office Manager, all based in a lovely office close to London Bridge. We specialise in very high end residential and retail projects which we carry out in a highly professional manner. We value our young and diverse team and make time to enjoy down time together.
