We’re looking for a programme manager with a proven track record of delivering multiple projects, excellent relationship-building skills and experience in working with older adults. The Delivery Manager is part of the senior management team, working closely with the Head of Operations and providing line management and supervision to the Older People’s team.

This full-time post plays a vital role in motivating and guiding the strong delivery of a range of programmes for older adults encompassing group work and one-to-one support. It is an exciting opportunity to support us to deliver our strategy by ensuring older people are at the heart of this programme. This post will also contribute to funding reports and maintaining relationships with our partners.

Therefore, the successful candidate will have a high level of programme management experience. If you have an excellent track record in programme delivery and team leadership, this is a fantastic opportunity for you.

Person description

In this role, you will:

- Develop and manage older adults’ programmes

- Motivate and lead teams and contribute to the wider organisation as a member of the senior management team

- Drive intergenerational activities in collaboration with the Delivery Manager responsible for the Children and Family team

-Contribute to overall organizational monitoring, strategy and KPIs

- Report to donors on outcomes and write funding applications

- Represent Time & Talents as operational delivery partner in the Ageing Well Southwark contract

- Act as Deputy Safeguarding Officer


About you

You are passionate about the power of community to connect and support people, and you like to work in collaboration with others. You are friendly and positive with demonstrable experience as a programme manager, particularly able to show experience in the voluntary sector working with older adults. You’re flexible, accountable, take responsibility, are highly organised and skilled in multitasking and balancing priorities.
