O2's beach may not be coming to Potters Fields, but American Express is bringing some of the excitement of Wimbledon to the riverside park between Tower Bridge and City Hall.

Potters Fields beach plan halted

Plans to fill Potters Fields with tonnes of sand to create an urban beach have been abandoned after a row between organisers Ten Alps and Southwark Council.
