Giant pound coin in Potters Fields to promote People's £50 Million

A 12-ton, 25-ft pound coin was installed in Potters Fields Park last week to symbolise the £50 million Lottery funding about to be decided by public vote.

Thursday night was a celeb-studded one on the South Bank as Sophie Dahl switched on the Festive Lights at the Royal Festival Hall and Old Vic panto star Sandi Toksvig did the honours in Waterloo.
