Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre to be painted blue

The Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre is to be repainted in two shades of blue in a 16-week project due to start early next month.

@L_MPS I think so. Most/all of the artwork is in the northern subways, whereas the southern subways have been filled in.

@popcultlover The council doesn't own the centre, so the timing isn't *all* down to them. Current shop leases in centre end in 2014.
