London SE1 website team

There is increasing worry for the safety of a vulnerable 32 year old man who has gone missing whilst on holiday in London. He is now thought to be in Southwark.

French national Malik Merabti arrived in London on Saturday 17 July with his parents to visit his sister in north London. The following morning at about 9am Malik went out to get some cigarettes. He did not return.

The Police believe Malik was seen on the night of Tuesday 20 July in the Southwark area.

Malik does not speak English and suffers from schizophrenia which requires some medication. He only had £1 on him and no means of obtaining any more money. His family is very worried about his welfare and has been out searching the streets to find him. His brother has also come over to help in the search.

Malik is of Algerian (North African) origin. He is 6'01"- 6'02" tall, thin build with brown eyes and black wavy hair with grey flecks. When last seen he was wearing a military green short-sleeved shirt with 2 breast pockets, military green trousers, a beige waist-length casual jacket and grey Nike trainers.
