Former Bankside beat officer charged with conspiracy to defraud
PC Christopher Keenan, 38, formerly the community beat officer for the Bankside area, returned on bail to Bexleyheath police station this week where he was charged with several offences.

PC Keenan was charged with conspiracy to defraud, conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and misconduct in a public office.
PC Keenan, formerly community beat officer for the Library Street area, was bailed to appear at Bow Street Magistrates Court on 7 December.
This is part of Operation Fado, a long-running investigation into corrupt street trading activities in Southwark.
Five other men remain on police bail.
