The BBC's daytime medical docusoap is to be filmed at Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals in SE1.
The NHS trust which runs the hospitals has agreed to an initial run of six weeks, with the possibility of further series to follow. The first broadcast in the series, currently seen by about 1m people every day, will be on 18 February.
The programme, previously filmed in Southampton, will chart the life of patients and staff in departments across the two hospitals: from porters to surgeons and transplant patients to outpatients.
