The Hartley is praised by the Standard's Edward Sullivan as a "romantic, candlelit spot" which serves "extremely reasonably priced quality food" and is frequented by "appreciative locals".

Details of how to vote for The Hartley can be found on the Evening Standard website. The winners will be announced on 9 March.

Last week we reported that both The Hartley and The Anchor & Hope in The Cut have been shortlisted in the gastropub category of the the Tio Pepe ITV London Restaurant Awards.

The Anchor & Hope i was nominated for the Evening Standard award last year.

Back in 2002 both The Market Porter and The Royal Oak were nominated, with the Tabard Street pub reaching the final shortlist.
