21st Century Watercolour at Bankside Gallery

Abigail Banks

This show represents the wide variety of styles and techniques of the 21st Century. Some of the most fascinating techniques are on display.

You can find expressive modern paintings with wild brush strokes and dancing colours. However, if your tastes are a little more conservative, then you will be pleased when you come across some of the more traditional and reserved works such as still life paintings and landscape scenes.

It is a judged show with applicants that have worked very hard to be accepted. If you look around in search of only the winners, remember to glance at some of the other pieces. All the works are worth your viewing.

Bankside Gallery is a pleasant place to stroll in and stroll out. It has a very genuine and friendly atmosphere that welcomes anyone who happens upon it along the riverside. Come and see for yourself what excites you the most about 21st Century Watercolour. Be surprised at the variety you'll encounter.

Until 12 July 2005 at the Bankside Gallery, Hopton Street.
