The concourses of Waterloo and London Bridge stations became dance floors for an hour on Monday night as part of the TangoCommute event.
The organisers intended the hour-long participatory dance event – held as part of Big Dance – to take place simultaneously on seven bridges and seven railway stations.
At Waterloo more than half a dozen couples danced silently to music on their MP3 players as bemused commuters rushed past.
