Estate residents' vigil at Lambeth Palace
150 residents from the Church Commissioners' Waterloo estate gathered outside Lambeth Palace on St Alban's Day night to highlight concerns about planned high rent properties.
Enduring the windy night, which put out many of the candles, were many elderly and long-standing residents with their families. This month a party from Waterloo will lobby General Synod members in York.
