SE1 teen charged with attempted murder after Walworth shooting

A 19-year-old man from Bushbaby Close, near Tower Bridge Road, has appeared in court charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life following a shooting in Walworth on Saturday night.

A man in his thirties was assaulted and shot during an incident in the Rose and Crown pub in Rodney Road SE17 on Saturday 28 July. He remains in a critical condition.

19-year-old David Mortby from Bushbaby Close SE1 appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court on Wednesday and was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on 7 November.
