New Stagecoach theatre school

London SE1 website team

Stagecoach, Britain’s largest and most well-established theatre school, arrives in Rotherhithe this autumn with SE1 as the catchment area.

With over 450 thriving schools, Stagecoach has an enviable reputation for stretching children's imagination and building their confidence through drama, dance and singing.

Children are taught by experienced teachers with professional backgrounds as performers, choreographers, directors and musicians who are to draw on a vast selection of stimulation g material that is both exciting as well as educational.

All classes are held on Saturdays so there is no interference with schoolwork and the poise and communication skills that the children acquire complement their school syllabus.

Although Stagecoach is open to all young people with an interest in the performing arts whatever their ability, it does provide professional opportunities as some students have found considerable success in film, television and the West End.

Stagecoach schools in Dulwich and elsewhere in London have been successful enough to have long waiting lists.

• A prospectus for the autumn term at Rotherhithe Stagecoach is available from 020 7740 3111.
