Man stabbed at Elephant & Castle

A 28-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed near Elephant & Castle on Friday evening.

Police were called to the scene, near the southern junction at Elephant & Castle, just after 8pm on Friday.

The victim was taken to a south London hospital suffering stab injuries where he remains in a serious condition.

A man was arrested nearby in connection with the incident.

Officers from Southwark Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
