Man charged over Bermondsey reptile theft

A Rockingham Street man is to appear in court next month following an incident in which exotic reptiles were stolen from a Bermondsey address.

58-year-old Ronald Davis from Rockingham Street has been charged with handling stolen goods after 18 snakes – some venomous – and eight geckos were found missing on 22 January.

Davis is due to appear at Tower Bridge Magistrates' Court in Tooley Street on 4 March .
