TV presenter Dermot O'Leary and Norah Casey (Chair of the Mayor's St Patrick's Day Advisory Group) compered the main stage at the festival in Jubilee Gardens. Performers included The Men They Couldn't Hang, Sharon Shannon, Damien Dempsey, Sinead Quinn, Celtic Tenors, Celtic feet, Comhaltas, London Lasses and Pauline Scanlon.

"London's St Patrick's Day celebrations mark the enormous contribution Irish communities have made to the capital and are a great day out for all the family," says Mayor of London Ken Livingstone. "I am delighted to support this event, which is about bringing people from all communities together. I hope it will grow to rival the big international parades in cities across the world."
