Police appeal for witnesses to ‘violent robbery’ in Waterloo
Police are appealing to trace a man who came to the assistance of a woman who had been the victim of a violent robbery in Waterloo last month.
Detectives say that a woman was subjected to a violent robbery at the junction of Cornwall Road and Brad Street, near the Waterloo East Theatre.
The incident took place on Wednesday 31 July at about 10.15pm.
A man assisted the victim immediately afterwards.
Police would like to speak to this man, or anyone else who witnessed the robbery.
