Best coffee place in the area.. for the Wifi
Coffee take away is by far the best option, however if you want Wifi then it's also a good place.. Prices have gone up (2011) and cups have gone smaller..
A lovely cafe
Excellent coffee, fairly priced. Comfy sofas, plenty of magazines, nice decor, community noticeboard, and a Phillip Schofield poster-who could ask for more? I love it.
incredible shrinking of cup sizes!
usually only go in on the weekend. was astonished to receive a medium drink in a cup which was unusually small.
as the difference in price from small - medium is 30p, thought it was a fair enough to check if i had a small by mistake.
incredibly, it was indeed a medium! they have recently reduced their cup sizes, so a small is probably just slightly larger than an espresso cup!
at delfina you can get any drink any size cup for £1.50!
i paid £2.30 for a 'medium' latte.
the cardboard 'cuff' was almost too big for the drink.
i cannot imagine how they can sustain this level of pricing. certainly, i wont be going back.
also the dog biscuits have gone!
cutbacks?
Hooray for free Wifi!
Absolutely loving the free wifi at coffee @!
It's really great for us freelancers.

Especially when Starbucks have such a crap Tmobile deal where you have to pay a monthly subsciption - no thanks mate.

Not organic??
After I read that review, I was really surprised, as Coffee @ always seem really eco friendly. The next time I went into Coffee@Bermondsey St, I asked the owner Adrian about it, he said that anything that isn't organic produce is sourced locally, like from Ticino bakery down the road, whose pastries are damn tasty!
I don't want to be sold another bloody lifestyle
Why is it that every where seems to be offering a lifestyle choice and ethical conscious massage with every coffee... Great, fair trade, organic, vegan and vegie options but its all just a show! (to which coffee @ appears no exception)... A little secret... half their stock is not organic! It's simply another case of that oh so organic aesthetic hallmark... Is there another way? See the Cat and Cucumber! ;)
Closing early!
I attempted to wander down to coffee@ this last sunday night, only to find it shut at 6pm... With no sign indicating why the early closing time it left me quite irritated and coffee'less! Bad form coffee@! Bad form!
Great Coffee
My husband and I just tried this spot today. The coffee was fantastic and the atmosphere was very funky and relaxed.

I really liked the fact that they have a big 'community board' where they allow people to put up free advertisements.

I would definitely recommend it.

Great coffee - wifi not free
Coffee@ is a great little cafe - everything is organic, free trade and locally sourced. Food tastes fantastic, and is one of the few places in London where I haven't wanted to spit the coffee out after my first sip.

Only downer is that the wi-fi is not free, but at a mere £1 per hour, it is reasonable.

Will definitely be heading back again soon.
