Christmas Fete at Hankey Hall

Local resident Maria Walsh is commemorating the lives of her brother and sister by organising a Christmas Fete. Caroline Walsh died from Sudden Unexpected Death due to Epilepsy (SUDEP) in 2002 and Phillip Walsh died from epilepsy-related complications in 2003.

Maria has chosen to donate all proceeds to Epilepsy Bereaved, a charity which support families bereaved by epilepsy and funds research into sudden epilepsy deaths in young people.

To offer assistance with the event or to make a donation to Epilepsy Bereaved, contact Maria at [email protected]

Maria is appealing for donations of items that can be used on the day. All donations are welcome; nothing is too big or too small.
