Waterloo to Little Venice Walk

For residents of Southwark and Lambeth, the nearest Get Walking Day event starts at Waterloo Station and follows a section of the Jubilee Greenway Walk through London parkland to Little Venice.

The pace is leisurely and there are plenty of stops along the way for refreshments.

Everyone is welcome to join the full walk of about five miles or to drop out at one of the many bus stops or points of interest along the way.

This is a free walk and there's no need to book – just meet in front of the main ticket office at Waterloo Station.

Your leader is John, a tall man who'll be easy to spot.

The Ramblers is Britain's walking charity and South Bank Ramblers is the local group for Southwark and Lambeth.

Its volunteers lead over 100 walks a year, all based on public transport easy to reach from the South Bank.
