Howard Brenton's play tells the story of King James' feat in uniting England's religious factions with a common Bible.

Directed by John Dove. Starring Miranda Raison.

Witty and flirtatious, Anne conspires with the exiled William Tyndale, to make England Protestant forever. Jumping forward 70 years, we see the newly crowned James I discover Anne's copy of the controversial Tyndale Bible, which goes on to become one of the key reference texts for his common 'authorised' Bible.
