Hawkins\Brown is an infill development inhabiting undercroft of 1970s tower, providing vibrant foyer at ground level, new life to facades and reinvention of first floor social space. Sustainable features include gas fired mini-CHP and wind turbine.
Round the corner in Keyworth Street the Centre for Efficient and Renewable Energy in Buildings is a teaching, research and public demonstration facility in Grimshaw's K2 building with stunning atrium.
