Scenes of London Life

To celebrate 80 remarkable years of charitable work Central & Cecil is staging an exhibition of archive images that encapsulate the proud history of the Waterloo Road-based housing trust.

The exhibition will also contain contemporary photographs that convey what is significant and unique about modern London life. Residents, staff and supporters of Central & Cecil enthusiastically submitted their own photographs to be competitively judged by David Angel. He chose Rosemary Phillipo's vivid shot of Notting Hill Carnival as the overall winner of the competition.
