This lecture-demonstration will reveal how the National Theatre's team of make-up artists, costume and wig-makers work to realise a designer's vision for a character in a play.

You will find out how materials, processes and techniques are tested and selected, as well as how the NT's costume department operates.

Led by Carol Lingwood (Head of Costume), Reuben Hart (Costume props) and Helen Casey (Deputy Head of Wigs and Make-up).
