Inspired by the Moral Cantatas of Telemann mixed with music from London's Pleasure Gardens. Moral improvement was the aim of the poetry at the core of Telemann's Moral Cantatas and other publications of the day, whereas the popular Pleasure Gardens allowed (and encouraged) their visitors to enjoy all aspects of nature and life even the seedier side.
The ensemble has been acclaimed for their mix of authentic, historically aware performances delivered with informality and passion!

The Club's exclusive bar and lounge are open for the enjoyment of ticketholders half an hour before the performance. The performers also invite you to join them there after the performance.
