Earlier this year, the Waterloo Festival invited composers aged between 18 and 35 to submit a musical score to accompany a short film that was commissioned by the festival and shot in Waterloo.
There were two categories – (1) clarinet quintet; and (2) electronic (where at least one instrument is synthesised).
The top scores – including the winning entry from each category – will be performed live alongside the film with members of Southbank Sinfonia performing those in category 1.
The evening will also see the final of the Waterloo's Got Talent competition.
