Around the World in a Day

Hilton London Tower Bridge is inviting the local community to travel "Around the World in a Day" as part of Hilton in the Community Foundation's annual charity challenge.

All net proceeds raised from this year's event will be donated to Care Trade UK to create innovative opportunities and choices for young people with autism in the heart of London.

The fundraiser in London is part of a continental Europe-wide challenge organised by Hilton in the Community Foundation, Hilton Worldwide's charity partner in Europe.

Hotel team members from more than 120 hotels across 18 countries will be working together with charity partners and members of the public on the day. They will collectively attempt to virtually travel 24,901.55 miles (40,075.16 kms), the circumference of the earth, in aid of charities supporting ill and disadvantaged children and young adults, chosen by each hotel.

Sven Goosen, hotel manager of Hilton London Tower Bridge, said: "Our team is very excited to be working together to support Care Trade for 'Around the World in a Day'. Our main event will be a fun Zumbathon. We welcome anyone who would like to come along and join us on 14 June for an amazing day of fun and exercise!"
