Studio group Manifold's three-month residency at Siobhan Davies Studios culminates in an exhibition of new works by each of the nine artists inspired by their experiences in the building and in re-examination of their own craft.
Manifold fill the studios with works ranging from a vast wax rubbing of the main atrium wall, to a film choreographing the movement in the building's public spaces.
Dancers have had their feet cast in translucent wax and placed around the studios, leaving a delicate trace of the people whose presence is the heartbeat of the building.
Elsewhere, clay has been used to create work which is both a visual and tactile experience by capturing the movement of dance class participants through their footprints.
