The Flipping Marvellous SE1 Charity Pancake Race

The Winter Olympics may have come to a close but local theatre company London Bubble are keeping the sporting spirit alive in More London this Shrove Tuesday.

The race aims to raise money by bringing together local organisations to indulge in a batter based competition.

The event is a Team London Bridge and London Bubble Theatre initiative in aid of LB+, a creative training programme for young people.

LB+ uses a theatre-based approach to raise aspirations and build life skills.

Bubble's award winning programme has seen 93 per cent of graduates go on to employment or further education.

Organisations in the SE1 area have been invited to enter teams of 5 people to hunt, gather and flip their way around More London in a unique event.

A young person from LB+ will join each team as part of the programme's aim to develop an innovative model of corporate engagement.
