Ross Loveday

Solo exhibition of new work by the award winning British artist Ross Loveday. This is the first major survey of Ross Loveday's work and includes new paintings and monoprints, the first time both elements of his work have been shown together.

Loveday captures the mood of a landscape, the atmosphere, transitory light or a certain mood. Although his work is inspired by the landscapes of East Anglia and the Welsh coast, these subjects form only the starting point of his work. The landscapes he depicts can be dark and forbidding but also delicate and fleeting, evoking a moment in time rather than a particular geographical place.
