Information session for women affected by breast cancer

Leading support charity Breast Cancer Care is holding an information session in South London for women affected by breast cancer.

This session offers the opportunity to hear from Dr Terry Priestman, Oncologist and author of The Cancer Survivor’s Handbook. Participants will learn about how decisions about treatment options for primary breast cancer are made, the different breast cancer drugs available, the potential benefits and also side effects and some possible ways to manage them.

These interactive sessions have an informal atmosphere and will give participants the chance to hear from an expert speaker and to ask questions about the subject. There will also be the chance to meet other women from the local area and find out more about the wide range of support services offered by Breast Cancer Care.

Participants are welcome to bring friends or family members.
