Valentine's Night at Tower Bridge

Lovebirds on the lookout for that extra touch of Valentine's Day magic should take up the proposal at Tower Bridge.

Throughout the evening of 14 February the spectacular high level walkways of Tower Bridge will be open specially to provide the perfect platform for romance.

A pianist sets the mood with couples' own requests as guests sip a glass of bubbly and drink in the panorama of London and its glimmering lights from this stunning viewpoint, 42 metres above the Thames.

"Tower Bridge – floodlit – is romantic enough," says marketing manager Barry Stewart, "but the Valentine's view from inside seems to sweep people off their feet. The lovely thing is that we keep it in the family: couples often come back again to hold their wedding or their reception here."

To ensure that sweet nothings reach only the right ears, guests are asked to pre-book a time for their Valentine's visit.

Tickets for Valentine's Night at Tower Bridge cost £12 per couple, inclusive of a glass of bubbly per person.
