Every year Globe Education celebrates the birthday of the Globe's founder Sam Wanamaker with a day of free workshops,demonstrations and platform discussions for the general public.

Join a host of Globe professionals for a day of activities for families. Every workshop is free of charge and open to everyone - just turn up on the day to book. Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

On the day...
'Heaven to Hell' backstage tour, Sam's Dream and Other Reconstructions talk, children's drama workshops, Othello and The Merchant of Venice on film talk, Movement and Text workshops, Swordplay demonstrations, traditional music, 'Setting the Scene' for The Merchant of Venice and Othello, Playing the Globe workshop, and 'Talking Theatre' with The Merchant of Venice actors.
