Credited with establishing the French school of harp playing, Alphonse Hasselmans composed some of the most ambitious works ever written for solo harp.
Harpist Rachel Wick presents two of his finest pieces, framed by music from the German and Welsh harp traditions, including the beautiful folk song Watching the Wheat.
