Portraits for Posterity

Photographs of people who survived the Nazi Holocaust of World War II, who later made new lives in the UK, including 20 who settled here in London.

Many of the survivors were held in Bergen-Belsen and Auschwitz concentration camps. This year marks the 70th anniversary of their liberation.

The portraits are by photographer Matt Writtle.
