Midsummer Opera will presents Puccini's ever-popular opera sung in the original Italian and will be semi-staged - and most unusually, the famous Te Deum which closes Act I will feature the church's organ as well as a full symphony orchestra, something which the major opera theatres can't offer.

Cast includes Deborah Stoddart as Tosca, John Upperton as Cavaradossi and Stephen Holloway as Scarpia. The Chorus and Synphony Orchestra of Midsummer Opera will be joined by a children's choir from St Dunstan's College and the whole ensemble will be conducted by MSO's artistic director David Roblou.
