More than 20 of the market's cheesemongers will be on hand to impart their expert knowledge of the craft as well as recipes and recommendations for top food and drink pairings. There will also be hot cider, wine and beer.
The event provides the opportunity to sample some delicious and unusual varieties, learn about artisan cheese production and purchase some original Christmas gifts.
Slow Food Alliance chef Theo Randall will be giving a demonstration between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, showcasing Bianca e Mora's famous Red Cow Parmesan cheese (Parmigiano Reggiano Vacche Rosse) - winner of best product category in the Slow Food London Awards 2015.
Theo, an advocate for preserving traditional cheese production methods will be offering samples of his tagliata di manzo and chestnut risotto, cooked live at the demo kitchen in the Market Hall.
