The Gender Debate

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Inspired by Ibsen’s introduction to A Doll’s House, a panel of campaigners and writers discuss how far society of today is still ‘a man’s world’, and question whether real gender equality will ever be achieved in a world in which everything from laws to language has been made by men.

On International Women's Day, Emily Maitlis chairs The Gender Gap discussion with Shami Chakrabarti, Caroline Criado-Perez, Anne-Marie Imafidon, Jane Duncan and Kate Jenkins.
