In response to the changing urban landscape surrounding an artists' community in Waterloo, Focus LDN has brought together artists of all nationalities to create a dialogue about the connection between urban regeneration and culture.
Representing the diversity and multiculturalism of London's art scene 'The Art of Regeneration' explores questions of cultural regeneration, and how the arts are utilising this visual language to inspire their practise.
The Art of Regeneration presents an anthology of images synonymous with London's urban identity, encompassing a variety of techniques from oils and etchings to prints and charcoal. Artists include Patrick Blower who is exhibiting in the Lynne Painter - Stainers award this year, Mark Mulholland who exhibited in the BP Portrait awards 2014, Thomas Cox who featured in Parallax Art Fair, Chelsea, and thirteen others.
