In addition to seeing the new facilities in action, (netball, football, tennis and beach volley ball), take part in the Wacky Races which will consist of egg and spoon; space hopper race, snorkelling race and the wheelbarrow race (using real wheelbarrows)
Kim Leadbeater, sister of the late Jo Cox (and ambassador for the Jo Cox Foundation), herself an aerobics instructor, will also be present to underline the importance of sport and its power to bring communities together. She will be joined by parents Jean and Gordon Leadbeater to promote the nationwide initiative The Great Get Together.
