Victorian Festival and Grand Opening

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Young and old are welcome to join in with horse and cart rides, music, cakes, games, Victorian hat workshops, and some rather scary traditional puppet shows.

The event on a peaceful June evening will be a chance to meet those involved in the restoration of Red Cross Garden, and to find out more about the garden, Octavia Hill who created it in 1887, and Bankside Open Spaces Trust, who have fostered it through its restoration in spirit in 2006.
