As part of its programme this month, Waterloo Festival is featuring the first UK screening of Algeria's 2019 entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards.
"Until the End of Time" is directed by Yasmine Chouikh, part of an emerging generation of Algerian filmmakers achieving international recognition. Her prize-winning drama follows a love story between an elderly gravedigger and a widow during pilgrimage season. There will be an introduction and traditional sweets to mark Eid. The event is curated by Toufik Douib.
