Mercato Metropolitano is celebrating its third anniversary at Elephant & Castle and will be hosting its annual celebration of sustainable living and the importance of community within cities, focusing on the topic: "The city we want to live in".
On Sunday MM will be serving a free community lunch at 1pm and will be preparing the feast from vegetables etc that would have gone to waste.
MM would also like to get some volunteers in to help prepare the meal as a community building / social event. To help out, come to the community kitchen from 9am.
Of course, there's some great food and drink for anyone who will volunteer.
